This established food manufacturing business supply an array of premium customers with branded and bespoke products. They are expanding at pace and in order to keep up with their growth plans they need an amazing Customer Service Deputy Manager to join their team.
You will be supporting the Customer Services Manager with the day to day running of the Customer Service Department within this food production site.
You will be responsible for looking after the Company’s key customers, being their key point of contact for orders and addressing any delays, shortages, breakages, returns and complaints.
You will support in managing and developing the team, and ensuring that they are meeting set SLA’s as well as setting their individual KPI’s.
You will also oversee the Customer Services Department ensuring:
• Orders are correctly logged and processed
• Databases are updated
• Co-ordinate with internal and external contacts to ensure smooth transactions
• Orders are fulfilled to the customer’s satisfaction.
Additional accountabilities will include working closely with the finance department, producing daily reports and be responsible for the credit and complaint log analysis.
We’re looking for a really personable and engaging individual who has a real passion for food and previous experience within a complex chilled food manufacturing environment is essential.
You will need to have a natural flair for developing relationships, solving problems and instilling confidence in those around you. As well as having stunning customer service skills where you go the extra mile, you will need to know how to manage customer accounts and understand the intricacies of the sales process. It is essential that you have strong communication skills as you’ll be liaising with important customers on a frequent basis.
Being a self-starter with a positive and pro-active approach is a must in order to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. Your superb organisational / planning skills with be second to none along with an impressive eye for detail and an analytical approach.
