The Company

A well-loved and recognizable brand who continue to lead the market in their category. They are now seeking an inspiring Product Developer to join them on their journey to bring delicious products to loyal consumers.

The Role

Reporting to the Product Development Manager you will support the creation of new products from concept through to launch. You will take pride in bringing briefs to life by demonstrating an ability to craft delicious flavour combinations and integrate new trends into sensational new concepts. Working closely with fellow developers you will thrive in a foodie culture, enthusing others on the values of the brand and the high quality of new products.

Nurturing your commercial and technical awareness you will learn the full scope of what it takes to bring new products to market. You will look to meet agreed timescales and cost targets whilst maintaining the highest quality to ensure you meet the needs of customers and consumers alike. You will adhere to ingredients policies, meet nutritional requirements and assist in customer presentations, taking on feedback to inform the NPD pipeline and meet retailer demands.

You will develop thriving relationships with 3rd party manufacturers and suppliers to ensure the company is able to obtain the best ingredients on time and in budget. You will work cross-functionally to perform consumer and competitor analyses in order to give the brand the best chance of staying at the forefront of the market.

The Person

his role would suit a budding developer looking for the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. A confident communicator who is able to liaise dynamically with a variety of teams. Possessing an un-relenting passion for food and innovation, coupled with a strong desire to learn, you will seek out and use feedback to better your skillset and inform your future actions.

You will boast a Food Science degree and have previously worked in a food manufacturing environment. Previous experience of meeting the demands of a branded business or leading retailer is desirable but not essential.

Candidates will also need a full UK driving license.
