As they look to drive innovation forward they are seeking a confident and dedicated Business Development Manager- Africa/Europe markets to join their Grocery team

The Role

This role will be reporting into the Head of International Markets- Grocery. You will be working to develop and execute a sustainable and profitable growth strategy for international markets and investigating and launching new markets. Additionally, you will be making regular visits to meet agencies, conduct store visits, understand changes to retail landscape and be updated on competitor brand names. You will also have an element of reporting, brand activation and NPD, working with the Central Marketing team. Part of your responsibilities will be working with distributors/ partners to maintain current relationships and establish new relationships.

The Person

Suit a self-driven and determined Business Development Manager with previous experience and success in a similar international role within the food industry. You’ll have a proven track record of successfully managing key accounts, developing new business and working with distributors all over the world. As well as outstanding communication skills you must have excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities with a natural flair for influencing key decision makers.

Significant international travel will be part and parcel of this role to get under the skin of the markets, their unique culture and challenges and to build key relationships.
