The Role

In this exciting and fast paced role you’ll have an understanding of the markets your customers operate, and actively seek out new business opportunities. Reporting to the International Sales Controller you’ll build great relationships with customers whilst directly handling any internal or external issues that might affect business. You’ll also help to build Joint Business Plans that motivate customers, deliver against company targets and achieve growth for the future.

Working collaboratively with marketing teams you’ll provide targets, supply category insights and accurately report data; such as weekly sales numbers, trade spend and market performance. As well as supporting on cross-functional projects including NPD you will be the eyes and ears of your customers, staying up to date with the latest trends. Additionally you’ll conduct frequent store visits, reviewing competitor products and reporting your findings back to the team.

The Person

We are looking for a self-motivated, customer oriented Account Executive of graduate calibre who has gained commercial experience within a food manufacturing or food retail environment. A passion for food, commercial acumen and the drive to achieve fantastic results is essential for this role. You'll also to be confident and articulate, have excellent relationship building skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels including internal colleagues and a broad customer base. There will be some international travel with this role.
