With a focus on building long-lasting relationships and driving results, they are looking for an experienced Suppliers Key Account Manager to join their growing team.
Please note, this is a hybrid position, with frequent travel that will involve regular overnight stays.
Reporting to the National Supplier & Sourcing Manager Bakery, you will be a key piece in the supplier team. As the Suppliers Key Account Manager, you will be at the heart of developing and maintaining long-term business relationships with key suppliers. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will become a trusted advisor, ensuring that supplier needs are met, and aligned with the company’s commercial objectives.
The role involves overseeing the creation and management of supplier reports, tracking sales, waste, and performance metrics to ensure solutions are delivered effectively and issues are resolved promptly. You will also manage the CPI process with your key suppliers. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams including Accounts, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to capture, track, and optimise all touchpoints between the business and its suppliers.
We’re looking for a natural relationship builder with solid experience in Key Account Management. You’ll need exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll be highly organised with excellent analytical abilities and proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential.
Experience in the retail or contract catering sectors, and knowledge of bakery manufacturing and food hygiene practices, would be highly advantageous.
