Partnering with leading food industry giants, as well as start-ups and all that lies between, they are now seeking an accomplished Part-Time (16 hours per week) Marketing Communications Manager to join their passionate consultancy.

The Role

Working closely with the Group Commercial Director, you will be responsible for creating and delivering the marketing communications strategy and plan. You'll enhance online presence through the creation of email campaigns and blog articles, as well as thinking of innovative content ideas to feature on their website and social media.

In this strategic role you will take full responsibility for the management of all social media channels and the website, ensuring all are regularly updated with news and content. You’ll draw on a wide range of sources as well as your expertise to identify key trends and patterns within your customer base, using the information to take advantage of business development opportunities.

The Person

We’re looking for a commercially savvy marketer with natural creative flair and a real passion for food. You will have a degree in Marketing/English and have ideally worked in an FMCG/Food service environment, as well as having a proven track record of leading and delivering marketing strategies, executing campaigns and increasing market position.

Previously you will have gained a strong understanding of SEO, copy writing, proof reading and the ability to work with PPC agencies. You will be well practiced in managing social media channels, having excellent planning and organisation skills and a thorough understanding of how to drive web traffic. You will additionally have a high attention to detail in order to create exciting and appealing online posts, blogs, newsletters and updates. Lastly it’s key that you have a real interest in food, cooking, baking, and everything else foodie, whether that’s eating out, creating your own recipes or cooking for friends and family.
