They are seeking a Retail National Account Manager to oversee and drive category growth across a range of product areas for multiple customer accounts.
Reporting to the Head of Sales you will work as part of a vibrant and growing commercial team across multiple UK manufacturing sites which focus on UK trade channels (including Retail and occasionally food service).
You will need to drive the business forward by developing existing relationships and actively seeking out new opportunities within your category, acting as a lead point of contact for your retail accounts.
You’ll develop and implement the commercial framework, formulating and delivering tailored plans to enable continual growth and category success. This will include managing and collating budgets as well as forecasting using data analysis to identify risk as well as opportunity. Working closely with internal teams such as NPD, marketing, production and supply chain, you will be responsible for creating and executing customer Joint Business Plans to achieve sales, profit and service delivery targets for your accounts. You’ll also need to develop specific customer plans, addressing category and shopper insights.
We are looking for a passionate and engaging Retail National Account Manager who has strong FMCG sales experience with at least two of the top six leading grocery retailers. You will possess exceptional commercial ability and a track record of profitable sales growth achievement in the own label retail sector.
You’ll be a highly personable, driven individual who can lead and influence others, working effectively at all management levels. You will have impressive business acumen and have an analytical mind-set to enable the development of profitable commercial propositions.
You’ll boast a proven record of strategic category development, where you have worked with cross-functional teams to present and deliver successful business plans and promotional activity.
