Our client is an established and forward thinking manufacturer supplying the UK major multiples with innovative chilled products. They are looking for a Night Quality Manager to be responsible for all aspects relating to the site’s safety and hygiene standards to ensure the continued delivery of high quality products into the market place.
In this dynamic role you’ll be managing the QA team, carefully monitoring systems and evaluating the factory’s quality standards to ensure product and team performance levels are at their highest. You’ll ensure current policies and procedures are up to date whilst also responding to customer enquiries by implementing corrective measures to ensure the desired specification is met. Liaising closely with the Technical team you’ll be coordinating and conducting internal, customer and third party audits as well as assisting with preparations for BRC assessment. In addition you will ensure your team is fully conversant with the production process, providing training to develop personal and company objectives in relation to quality and hygiene requirements.
Suit a QA professional with a keen eye for detail who has experience of working in a similar quality management role within a food manufacturing environment. You’ll have experience of working with quality systems where you will have implemented new methods to enhance procedures whilst keeping product quality at top of your agenda. You’ll have previously managed a team of QA Technologists, providing guidance and development opportunities whilst demonstrating excellent people management skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
