The Role

Reporting to the Area Manager you'll be responsible for successfully leading a team to ensure the company's food quality standards are met and maintained. You'll be evaluating processes and procedures, implementing improvements, and ensuring the site is running to maximum efficiency and capacity in the most cost effective manner. You'll also make sure your team adhere to the quality and safety policies of the company, promoting a safe working environment as well as providing support and guidance to maximise the potential of the team and the factory.

The Person

This role would suit an accomplished Production Manager who has experience of leading and managing a team to complete daily tasks and meet set targets. Alternatively you could be a Production Team Member who has some prior supervisory experience and feel you are ready for that next step up. You'll have excellent communication and people management skills in order to lead your team effectively, as well as a proven track record of achieving set KPI’s specifically within a factory environment.

Experience of the food manufacturing industry is essential, along with knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, and a good grasp of the technical and quality aspects of food production. You will also have an analytical and logical approach to ensuring the continual smooth running of the production line.
