The Company

Our client is a successful and entrepreneurial business within the ambient channel who works tirelessly to supply consistently high quality and innovative products for their customers in the out of home sectors. They are now seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Manager to help them penetrate and be successful in the retail sector.

The Role

This is a fantastic position for an experienced and tenacious National Account Manager where you’ll be developing your own retail accounts from scratch and driving the commercial agenda within the UK retail channel. You’ll be responsible for identifying routes to growth to develop the business through unlocking new customers and listings across grocery retail, discounter retail and any other channel users of retail size products.

Other accountabilities will include accurate forecasting across the product portfolio, price negotiation and planning, full P&L responsibility and budgeting as well as elements of category management and marketing. You’ll use your extensive retail and product knowledge to influence key decision makers and drive a profitable business forward.

The Person

For this role you will be an experienced National Account Manager looking to enhance your commercial career further in this fast paced and challenging, customer focused role. You’ll have demonstrable hands-on experience in managing retail accounts and a strong commercial background within an FMCG business. Your knowledge of the UK retail landscape and your negotiation skills will be second to none. You must have first class communication and organisational skills with the ability to inspire and lead other dynamic & passionate individuals.
