The Role

Reporting to the Head of Food, you’ll be part of the innovation team, helping to accelerate growth plans for existing and new platforms. You’ll be working in a hands on role, proactively creating and delivering a rich pipeline of innovation to unlock sales within new categories. You’ll work collaboratively with a small team who are as passionate about food and flavours as you are. You will use your creative flair to push the boundaries in fashioning and updating amazing ranges that are on-brand and inspire consumers.

You’ll take ownership of NPD projects from ideation stage all the way through to product launch which will involve consumer research, hands on recipe development, costings and presentations to the senior management team. This will include building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers who you will work closely with on your innovation projects.

The Person

The role would suit a passionate product developer who loves keeping up with the latest trends and has the ability to translate them into delicious yet commercially viable products. You’ll already have experience as an NPD Technologist or Product Developer where you have gained concept to launch experience. You will be highly adept at creating new products as well as having detail conscious project management skills.

You’ll also need be an excellent team player with confident presentation and communication skills. Experience in any product area will be considered but bakery / snacking would be desirable as would a food science or food technology qualification.
