The Company

We're working with a food start-up business who are respected for their truly innovative and health driven approach as well as their high quality ambient products. They are now looking for a Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to bring a new dimension to their ambitious business strategy.

The Role

In this quintessential role, you will be the go-to person for all things operational and you’ll help lay the foundation to support the accelerated growth of the company over the next few years. Reporting to the MD, you’ll be operating and administering all supply chain and logistics systems recently implemented, to successfully integrate the sales, production and finance functions. Additionally, you’ll work closely with buyers and production to make sure orders are processed, production schedules have been updated accordingly, inventory is correctly managed and all deliveries to your customers are completed on time and in full.

The Person

We are looking for a customer focused, commercially aware Supply Chain professional who has previous experience in a similar role within the food industry. It is essential that you have strong communication and relationship building skills as you’ll be liaising with important customers and suppliers on a frequent basis. You’ll also have acquired a proven track record of driving continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives along with an eye for detail and an analytical approach which will enable you to devise effective business solutions. In addition, it is also vital that you possess excellent organisation and planning skills and have a high level of IT literacy. Experience building S&OP processes from scratch would be ideal.
