They are now looking for a proactive and friendly Technical Sales Professional to join their team to strengthen their sales function and help facilitate continual business growth within the food and beverage categories.

The Role

Reporting into the Sales & Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with current customers whilst being proactive and tenacious in attaining new business within food and beverage categories. You’ll generate incremental revenues from existing clients as well as develop new business opportunities for flavour standards and sensory services.    

You’ll be the first point of contact for your customers providing in-depth technical support to ensure highest levels of service. In addition you will be forecasting the sales evolutions, generating reports to ensure that profitability is maximised and budgeted sales volume and margin achieved. You’ll also be clued up on industry trends and emerging areas of business, to keep ahead of the competition.

The Person

We are looking for a self-motivated Technical Sales or Business Development Professional with a proven track record of success in establishing and maintaining key accounts.  It is essential that you have worked within the fast paced food & beverage industry, where you have acquired amazing organisational, negotiation and influencing skills. The role will be very sensory led so a Food Science degree is desired to prove that you can provide the technical support and expertise your customers expect. You must also be commercially aware with previous experience in developing and maximising business within a solutions and profit driven environment.
