The Company

This purpose-led startup food brand has seen a massive growth over recent years and is now the number one brand in its product category. They are on a mission to bring their products to the masses with their growing range that offers a healthier alternative to mainstream products.

They have landed a multitude of retail listings and are looking for someone driven and ambitious to maintain these strong relationships with the supermarkets whilst their Senior National Account Manager is on maternity leave.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Founder and a key member of the Sales and Marketing Team, you’ll be responsible for growing the business with the major multiples and managing the relationships with the buyers. You will also be running the sales function internally for the retail channel, reporting weekly sales performance versus forecast to the wider business. This will include managing the sales forecast and month end with the support of a commercial executive.

To succeed in this role, you will work closely with other departments such as supply chain and brand activation teams. As and when you are settled in the position, you will be managing the brand activation executive, setting objectives and KPI’s, weekly one to ones and quarterly personal development meetings.

The Person

We are looking for a high-flying Commercial Manager / Account Manager with experience of working in partnership with the major retailers. This will be from a fast-paced FMCG environment, but working for a start-up or challenger food brand would be even better. Food & Drink sector experience is essential.

As well as being commercially astute, dynamic, and charismatic, you will be highly adept at building and leveraging relationships internally and with customers. You will thrive in an entrepreneurial and high-profile role, taking responsibility to help drive the business forward.
