With a strong presence in the UK major retailers and foodservice markets, they’re now looking for a commercially driven Retail Account Manager to help drive growth.
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of major UK Grocery accounts.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll lead the full commercial relationship, from identifying new opportunities and managing tenders, to launching products and delivering long-term growth.
You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams across R&D, technical, manufacturing, and logistics to bring customer briefs to life, ensuring each stage of the process is delivered on time and to a high standard.
Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, you’ll shape strategies that align with both commercial goals and market trends. You’ll also represent the business at key trade shows, customer meetings, and networking events, using your market insight to help steer future product and category direction.
Innovation sits at the heart of this role, with a strong focus on new product development. You’ll play a key part in creating and launching exciting, trend-led food concepts, particularly around the high-impact seasonal windows of summer and Christmas.
We’re looking for a commercially focused Grocery Account Manager with a proven track record in the food industry, ideally with experience in chilled or frozen ready meals, or other high-value products.
With at least 10 years’ experience under your belt, you’ll be confident managing UK retail relationships negotiating JBPs, and driving projects from brief to launch.
You’ll need to be a strong communicator with excellent project management skills, capable of working independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
Occasional visits to Asia will be part of the role.
