The brand has already made waves in the industry with their innovative products and are now looking for a bold, strategic, and creative Head of Product / Food to join their Leadership Team. This role sits at the heart of the business – shaping innovation, inspiring the team, and driving deliciously disruptive products.

The role is based at their London HQ (2 to 3 days) with travel to suppliers and their UK manufacturing sites.

You will play an active role on the Leadership team, working ‘on’ and ‘in’ the business, leading the product and innovation strategy, including a 3–5 year growth roadmap. You will own and execute NPD pipelines, annual budgets and timelines. Partnering with the Marketing Director, you will help define long-term brand and category vision. Key Responsibilities: • Product Vision & Strategy – Define and deliver innovation plans aligned to our mission and goals

• Trend Analysis and Foresight – Spot emerging trends and translate them into exciting product ideas

• Innovation Delivery - Lead end-to-end NPD, managing timelines, budgets, and success metrics

• Portfolio Management – Optimise the range with smart innovation and commercial insight

• Creative Leadership – Drive bold, brand-relevant, technically feasible concepts

• Team Leadership – Mentor and lead a high-performing team of two

• Stakeholder Engagement – Be our product evangelist, internally and externally

• Monthly reporting – Report on KPIs and budget performance to the Leadership Team

• Budget Management – Manage the NPD budget and ensure effective allocation.

The Person

To make an impact in this role you’ll be highly skilled in creating and delivering an NPD strategy in order to launch outstanding products for a branded food business.

Being inspirational, collaborative and credible you will bring purpose and clarity to the food function, using your combination of brand and manufacturing expertise. This experience could be from an established or challenger brand where innovation has been at the heart of the business and you have excelled at navigating ambiguity and complexity.

As a real foodie you will be creative, strategic and agile in your approach to NPD whilst also being process driven and commercially aware, to drive long and short-term projects with the correct brand and consumer agenda. You enjoy working at pace and thrive working in a cross-functional capacity where you are highly adept at influencing to achieve results.

You will have proven leadership skills with the ability to build curious, creative and accountable teams. Highly focused and driven, you have a boundless passion for food and a real drive to deliver.
