They are now seeking a capable Technical Manager to support seamless technical operations and maintain the highest standards in food safety and quality.

This role will require 3 days at their London Head Office.

The Role

As a Technical Manager, you’ll be central to delivering and maintaining a compliant, high-quality food environment throughout their UK operations. You’ll oversee supplier relationships, support the NPD team with expert technical guidance and lead food safety and quality assurance across their stores. From approving product specifications and packaging to investigating customer complaints, you’ll work hard to ensure their food offering consistently meets legal, safety and brand standards.

You will also be working closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers and regulatory partners, driving continuous improvement to shape the company’s technical processes. Championing best practices, you will reflect the company’s commitment to quality and craft.

The Person

You’ll be an experienced Technical Manager with a proven track record of implementing and driving food safety improvements, managing supplier relationships and championing the highest technical standards.

Experience from a retail, QSR, foodservice or manufacturing environment is essential, ideally a combination of these. With a degree in a Food Science or related discipline, you’ll bring hands on experience which will include complaint investigation, specification management and artwork approval. HACCP level 3 qualification and experience of handling of food safety management systems is highly desirable.

You’ll have a natural ability to communicate in a concise and engaging way, as well as the ability to be flexible and adaptable to build strong relationships with internal and external teams. You’ll be passionate about food and drink, with a proactive, “can do” mindset and a real drive to make thins better.
